Sometimes Guatemala is not an option, you have to be there. And cruises are like that. You select the one that has some destinations you may want, and they select the rest, then you have to go to that small country, in the middle of nowhere, and not knowing what to do. Nonetheless Guatemala is a different destination of you what you may be used to, when you are on a cruise, and Guatemala most important places, are usually not ports, or near the sea. The port installations may be the worst of any respectable tourist port, but do let that disappoint you, there are may things to in the few hours you have in Guatemala.
